MOUNIF RIFKAH, MD

Dr. Mounif “Moe” Rifkah is a board certified family medicine physician with a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in sports medicine. He is originally from central Pennsylvania, growing up in Altoona and attending Bishop Guilfoyle High School. He then attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Biology. He completed medical school at Marshall University in Huntington, WV. Following medical school, he returned to Pittsburgh to continue his medical training at the UPMC Shadyside Family Medicine Residency Program. He remained in Pittsburgh to complete an additional year of specialized sports medicine training at the UPMC Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Program, where he had the opportunity to work with the University of Pittsburgh Men’s basketball team, Saint Vincent College football team, Fox Chapel High School, and a variety of other collegiate teams at Robert Morris University, the University of Pittsburgh, and Point Park.

After completion of his medical training, Dr. Rifkah sees patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and sports injuries at Burke & Bradley Orthopedics. He serves as assistant team physician for Fox Chapel High School

Outside of medicine, Dr. Rifkah enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, tennis, soccer, hiking, and trying out new restaurants.
